Description
Product Introduction
The milk cooling tank (also known as a refrigerated milk storage tank or direct-cooling milk tank) is a core piece of equipment in dairy collection stations, farms, and small-scale dairy plants. It is used for rapid cooling and short-term storage of freshly extracted raw cow’s (or goat’s) milk, inhibiting microbial growth and preserving the milk’s freshness and physicochemical properties to the greatest extent. Its core function is to directly cool the milk inside the tank via a refrigeration system, enabling rapid temperature reduction and constant-temperature storage.
Main Structure:
Inner Tank: Cylindrical/conical-bottom stainless-steel container for holding milk.
Evaporation Jacket: Miller plate jacket tightly welded to the outer wall of the inner tank, where refrigerant flows to absorb heat from the milk.
Insulation Layer: High-pressure foamed polyurethane filled between the inner tank and outer tank wall.
Outer Shell: 304 stainless steel cladding to protect the insulation layer.
Mixing System: Top-mounted drive motor + gear reducer + stirring shaft and paddles extending into the tank.
Refrigeration Unit: Compressor, air-cooled condenser, liquid receiver, dryer filter, expansion valve, and evaporator (i.e., the jacket).
Control Panel: Integrated control system, electrical components, and display panel.
Accessories: Manhole cover, thermometer port, level sensor port, cleaning spray ball, milk inlet/outlet, drain port, and breather filter (dustproof and breathable).
